LinkedIn does not feel exciting, which is exactly why it works. The feed is less saturated than Instagram or TikTok and the people reading it are hiring, buying and partnering.

What performs

Posts that teach something specific from your own work. Short paragraphs, a clear first line, no links in the body (put them in the comments). Document what you are doing rather than announcing what you have done.

Consistency beats virality

Three posts a week for six months will do more than one viral post. Comment thoughtfully on posts by people in your industry; that alone puts you in front of their network.

Creator tools worth using

Newsletters give you a subscriber list that LinkedIn emails on your behalf. Articles are indexed by Google. Both are underused by professionals in East Africa.
