What works today
Landing pages, internal dashboards, simple marketplaces, scripts that clean spreadsheets, and prototypes to show investors. A founder with no coding background can now get a working demo in a weekend.
Where it breaks
Payments integration with local providers, anything involving security or user data at scale, and maintaining a codebase over months. The tools are excellent at starting and worse at finishing.
The founders' advice
Use the agent to build the prototype, then hire a developer to review it before real customers touch it. Learn enough to read what was generated. Keep everything in version control from day one.
What this changes for the ecosystem
The cost of testing an idea has collapsed. The cost of running a reliable product has not. Expect more startups to launch, and more of them to need engineering help around month three.
